The extra holding space for taxis on Alverstone was opened this week and Seleta Reynolds, the
DOT General Manager, gave instructions to all the taxi company managers Tuesday to direct
their cars there. Additionally, at this morning's Taxi Commission meeting there is an agenda
item updating the commissioners on the situation with LAX for their info and input.
